플라워필즈는 꽃과 플로리스트를 중심으로 다양한 분야의 크리에이터들이 모여 워크숍과 전시를 함께 만들어가는 프로젝트입니다. 그 과정에서 발생한 수익은 필요한 곳에 기부되며, ‘아름다움의 유용함’을 전합니다.

WILD - FIRE - FLOWERS
불은 숲을 태우고, 나무를 무너뜨리며, 익숙한 풍경을 한순간에 사그러뜨립니다. 모든 것이 잿더미로 변한 자리에서 우리는 상실과 적막을 마주합니다. 그러나 다시 시간이 지나면, 검은 땅 위에도 다시 풀이 돋고 꽃이 피어납니다. 불길이 남긴 흔적 위로 번져오는 미미하지만 강인한 생명. 그것은 자연이 들려주는 가장 오래된 이야기이자, 다시 살아가리라는 고요한 약속이기도 합니다.
플로리스트와 다양한 분야의 크리에이터들이 모여 서로의 감각을 나누고, 그 결과물을 한자리에 모아내는 Creative Charity Club, ‘플라워필즈Flowerfields 2025’의 여정은 바로 이 장면에서 시작되었습니다. 주제는 ’산불’. 불이 삼켜버린 풍경과 그 자리에 끝내 다시 피는 꽃의 생명력을 통해, 맞물린 소멸과 회복의 시계를 읽어보았습니다.
상실과 희망이 결코 분리되지 않는 세계를, 아름다움이 이토록 유용해지는 세계를 관객 여러분들께 보여드리고 싶었습니다.
Fire consumes forests, topples trees, and extinguishes familiar landscapes in a single moment. Where everything has turned to ash, we are left to face loss and silence. And yet, with time, grass returns to the blackened earth, and flowers begin to bloom again. A faint but resilient life spreading over the scars left by the flames. It is nature’s oldest story, and a quiet promise that life will begin again.
It was from this very image that the journey of Creative Charity Club, Flowerfields 2025 began. A gathering where florists and creators from diverse fields come together to share their sensibilities and present the results in one collective space. This year’s theme was Wildfire. Through the landscape devoured by fire, and the flowers that ultimately bloom there once more, we sought to read the intertwined cycle of destruction and recovery.
We wanted to share with our audience a world where loss and hope are never separate, and where beauty becomes profoundly useful.
2024
FLOWERBACK
2024년, ‘플라워필즈’를 출범하며 마련한 첫 번째 워크숍과 전시의 제목은 ‘꽃의 뒷모습Flowerback’입니다.
화려한 꽃의 얼굴 바로 뒤편. 그 형상이나 기운에 주목해 보신 적 있나요? 시선을 옮겨 꽃의 뒷머리를 보게 되면 얼굴과는 다른 지점들이 눈에 띕니다. 꽃의 얼굴이 그 독보성으로 대번에 주의를 압도했다면, 뒤편은 조금 다릅니다.
줄기와 얼굴을 잇는 가녀린 듯 굳센 목의 구조, 꽃 얼굴이 투영하는 빛을 받아 머금거나 저리로 흘리는 모양, 어떤땐 같은 꽃인지 헷갈릴 만큼 반전의 뒤태… 일부러 살피지 않았다면 영영 몰랐을, 꽃이란 존재의 본새가 비로소 조금은 눈에 들어옵니다.
조금이라도 독창적이라 여겨지는 세상 모든 일의 뒤통수를 물끄러미 바라보고 있자면, 어쩐지 꽃의 뒷모습이 겹쳐 보입니다. 꽃을 엮는 일, 텅 빈 공간을 채우는 일, 와인을 파는 일, 옷을 짓는 일, 사진을 찍는 일 모두에서 말입니다. 현장의 모든 장면과 분위기는 각각 베를린과 방콕, 그리고 서울에 적을 둔 플로리스트 세 명이 3일간 골몰한 삶과 업의 뒷모습이었음을, 떠올려봅니다.
In 2024, the first workshop and exhibition launched under Flowerfields was titled Flowerback.
Just behind the vivid face of a flower lies another side, one we rarely stop to notice. When we shift our gaze to the back of a bloom, different qualities begin to appear. If the flower’s face captures us instantly with its beauty, the reverse reveals itself more quietly.
The delicate yet steadfast structure that connects stem to blossom, the way it catches and releases light, the unexpected silhouette that can feel like an entirely different flower. Details easily overlooked, yet essential to its character.
When we look closely at the unseen side of anything truly original, the same image appears. Arranging flowers, shaping empty space, selling wine, making clothes, taking photographs… Each carries its own hidden structure and quiet labor. Every scene and atmosphere in this exhibition was shaped over three days by three florists based in Berlin, Bangkok, and Seoul, reflecting the unseen side of both life and work.

A LIVING THEATER
플라워하우스코리아의 사전 전시인 ‘A Living Theater’는 메인 워크숍과 본 전시에 앞서 더 많은 분께 우리가 모인 의미를 알려드리고자 마련되었습니다. 살아있는 꽃들이 모여 한 편의 고요하고 극적인 장면들을 만듭니다. 지하 1층과 지상 1층엔 하수민 작가 ‘OUT OF THE WAY’를, 2층에는 임지숙 작가의 ‘FLOWER NOISE’를 만날 수 있도록 구성했습니다.
같은 해 10월에 열리는 본전시(Flowerback)에서는 세 명의 글로벌 플로리스트가 주축이 되어 하나의 공간 속 세 개의 방을 꽃으로 메워 나갑니다. 다양한 크리에이터가 모인 워크숍이 열리고, 말미엔 대중을 위한 전시가 이루어집니다. 그 기간 발생하는 모든 수익과 후원은 유니세프 한국위원회를 통해 전 세계 도움이 필요한 곳에 기부됩니다.
유니세프와 플라워하우스코리아의 첫 만남을 관통하는 주제는 ‘기후 위기’입니다. 유니세프 존과 꽃 작품을 통해 급변하는 지구와 인간의 체온에 관해서도 생각해 보실 수 있는 자리를 마련했습니다.
A Living Theater, the pre-exhibition by Flower House Korea, was created to share the purpose of our gathering with a wider audience ahead of the main workshop and exhibition. Living flowers come together to form scenes that are both quiet and dramatic. The presentation featured Ha Sumin’s OUT OF THE WAY on B1 and 1F, and Lim Jisook’s FLOWER NOISE on the 2nd floor.
The main exhibition, Flowerback, held in October of the same year, brings together three global florists to transform three rooms within one space entirely through flowers. Alongside the exhibition, workshops with creators from diverse fields will take place, followed by a public exhibition. All proceeds and sponsorships generated during this period will be donated through UNICEF Korea Committee to communities in need around the world.
The theme connecting the first collaboration between UNICEF and Flower House Korea is the climate crisis. Through the UNICEF zone and floral installations, visitors are invited to reflect on our rapidly changing planet and the human warmth needed within it.
